Flying into town to spend Valentines day with his girl Miranda Kerr, Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom this week splashed out over $15,000 on a present - for himself.
The Sympathy For Delicious star and confessed petrol head bought a custom-made Deus Ex Machine motorbike on Thursday before heading to Melbourne for Channel Nine's bushfire telethon.
Hoping that he hasn't forgotten to at least pick up some (organic) choccies and flowers for his chick of two years, Confidential understands the Chainsaw SR400, which is described as a "post-modern retro rocket" set Bloom back between $15,000 and $20,000. Bloom, whose garage is said to be full of motorbikes, often takes Kerr crusing the streets of New York.
It is believed he will ship the new one back to the US when he heads home.
While it is not known what the pair have planned tonight, Kerr is on a break from her official David Jones duties until the Melbourne fashion show next week
