Oh my god I am so sorry I have to tell you that.

I sended an E-Mail to the Event manager of the Cafe de Paris and ask him if he could tell me, if it is true that they are one of the locations for the movie. he answered me and said yes, but he has to be sorry to disappoint me, because Orlando pulled out of this production.

I do not think he is lying to me, because if he would like to keep me away, then I guess he wouldn't even answer my e-Mail.....

So I am really sorry I have to tell you that.....

I'm sure if he chose to pull out, we'll be hearing something from an official source any day now. Until then, let's just assume this guy is pulling your leg. He was most likely made to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and he would be in violation of that if he's blabbing about changes in the cast.

Yes.To be brutally honest I think fans should leave the production alone and let them and Orlando work in peace.

How would the event manager of a cafe being used know whether or not someone had pulled out of a production? They deal with the logistics of where and when, not who in the cast is still in the movie.

I'm going to join in with the others and say that they told you that to keep the fans away and let the production film with as little disruption as possible. At least until confirmed by a reliable industry source.

Also, if he did pull out he would have to have done so at the very last minute, breaking contract and forcing the production to come to a halt until they could recast his part. That's EXTREMELY unprofessional, and those are two words we all know can't be used to describe Orlando. Yep, my money is on "fibbing as fangirl repellent" as well.

Just read in the other forum Orlando had to pull out because he couldn't fit it in with his Matrial Arts training for le circle rouge.

It's dissapointing he won't be in An Education, but at least he's still working on another production.

Well, it's still rumour at the moment. There's no official word yet. The details and discussion so far can be found in this thread.

I am not sure if that is truth but I will try to find out as I posted in some other thread ( I have a friend who is going to have a small epizode).

If he really dropped the role that's a pity because in my opinion the role of An Education sounds much more interesting than another action-like one. But that's his choice.

I'm not about to speculate... but honestly, if it's true that he's dropped this one for the one in Hong Kong, I'll be really disappointed. I really wanted to see him take a supporting role in a supposedly well written British film.
